Pain point: The chatbot lacks the ability to automatically adjust its behavior based on specific times or schedules, such as outside of business hours. This limitation results in inappropriate or less helpful interactions with customers during off-hours.
Goal: To enable the chatbot builder to change chatbot flows based on a predefined schedule, allowing for different interactions during specified times like after-hours or holidays.
Detailed description: Implement a scheduling feature within the chatbot builder that allows users to define different chatbot flows for specific time periods. For example, during business hours, the chatbot follows the standard support flow, but after hours, it switches to an “Out of Hours” flow that might offer only the option of chatting with AI until the team return. Or for a custom message explaining the team will take a while before they reply.
